How do we remove stains from handmade carpets?

Woolen carpets

1. Remove wet stains with absorbent paper towels.
2. Use the materials, as listed in the condition, with a clean dry cloth, always starting from the edge towards the center of the stain and towards the pile. (**)
3. Do not soak it more than normal.
4. After cleaning the stain, remove the moisture with absorbent tissues. Dry it with a fan or hair dryer.
5. Restore the pile with the help of the clothes brush.

Silk carpets

1. With an absorbent cloth, thoroughly wipe the stain from the carpet.
2. Rub the stained spot, in the direction of the pile, with white and clean natural leather dipped in a solution of white vinegar(*) and wring it out very well (proportion: 1 part vinegar, 3 parts cold water).
3. Dry the area you cleaned with the hair dryer and finish by "polishing" it with a clean skin, completely dry, always in the direction of the pole.
4. Before attempting to remove the stain with the above solutions, try the white cloth test to check color fastness. Soak a white cloth in the solution, and rub it on the corner of the carpet. If the cloth becomes colored, contact us.
